100% of monetary donations are applied to the project. We do not have administrative costs as our organization is run entirely by volunteers.
A new school costs approximately $30,000. To break it down, here are some of our costs:
Our cards are a great way to give a gift for your friends and family here that will have huge significance for many in Myanmar. Our cards give you the option of actually purchasing certain items for the school or you can just specify a donation amount.

How can I make a donation?
Monetary donations can be made through the following methods:

Cheque or money order can be sent payable to UR Building Knowledge to our mailing address or dropped off to one of our supporting retailers

Can I receive a tax receipt for my donation?
Non tax redeemable receipts are more flexible on where the donations go:
All donations made to UR Building Knowledge are to a nonprofit organization – registered in Canada. We do give receipts that are not redeemable for tax. You can donate another way for that! If you donate to UR building Knowledge, then we have more flexibility on how the funds are allocated We can have a scholarship fund. We can provide school books and supplies…
